More About the Bat

The bats are 36" - 40" in length and weigh between 36 - 40 ounces. When a player stays inside the ball and takes a proper route to the contact point, he can hit line drives with the extra long and heavy 40/40 wood bats as easily as he can with his metal bat. However, when the player hooks the ball, casts his hands, or rolls his top hand over, he will beat the ball into the ground. 40/40 bats provide players with instant feedback and allow them to become their own hitting coach during practice. As the player improves his swing mechanics with the aid of the 40/40 bats, he learns to stay inside the baseball, be palm-up/palm-down at contact, and improve his bat speed and power (note: actual length and weight of bat may vary slightly).

40/40 bats by BigTimeBaseball are the best teaching tool in the world! Get yourself a 40/40 bat today. Purchase directly from this website and every effort will be made to process, ship and deliver orders within the week. All for only $69.99 per bat.

HOW TO SELECT YOUR BAT
40/40 Bats are designed by length and weight to directly correlate with the size of the bat that a player would normally use in games. This provides the player with the best teaching tool possible. For example, a player who swings a 32" metal bat will use a 36/36 wood training bat from BigTimeBaseball, during all his drill work in practice. Players who swing a 33" metal bat would use a 38/38 wood training bat, and for players who use a 34" metal bat, we recommend a 40/40 wood training bat. (Note: For best results during 40/40 drills, coaches can make adjustments in the recommended training bat used by their players based on age, size, strength and ability.)
